An escape room is an immersive, physical adventure set in a "locked" room ( you are never really locked in.. it's pretend- in Australia anyway) where players solve a series of riddles, clues, and puzzles to figure out the story.

The objective is to escape and solve the mystery.

A game master watches you and will give you hints when you ask for them-via camera/speaker/walkie talkie/ipad or tv- each company uses a different method. Most companies have more than one escape room. where you are "locked" (not really) in a room that has a mystery you have to solve for fun- it is a game you solve with others.

All rooms are different some being better than others- some have fantastic environments with amazing handmade puzzles...others aren't as well done.
